A chàirdean uile!

Watercolour is on the loose again with the first of this year’s house concerts for 2017. And you’ll see that the 26th February is a rather significant one. After more years as a musician than she cares to remember, Mary Ann is about to release her debut solo album – ‘An Dàn’ (The Song), the first ever complete album of new, original Gaelic songs. It’s been a while coming, but the first preview gigs in November with long-time accompanist Finlay Wells yielded a fantastic response from audiences to the new songs and to Gaelic writing in the ‘here and now’. It promises to be a very special afternoon, and you’ll also be able to reserve a signed copy of ‘An Dàn’ in advance. (Thanks to all of you who’ve already bought the ‘envelopes’ – you are top of the list!)

As ever, we appreciate your support for the music and the studio, and hope to welcome lots of you on the 26th. To those who can’t make it, or from further afield, if you’d like to pre-order the album, please email Mary Ann on mak@watercolourmusic.co.uk and we’ll send details of how to go about that.

And if you’re with us on the 26th, you’ll get the first info on a very special series of concerts later on in the year, thanks to the Ardgour Area Fund!

 Mòran taing!
